TAWANG, Jun 28: Two days Corona vaccination camp was held at Mago, the last Indian village on the Indo-Sino border, for the grazers and villagers of Mago.
Targeting cent percent vaccination coverage for all grazers who have shifted to the Indo-Sino border with their herds for summer grazing, a camp was held at Topgye Hotspring for the grazers of Chuna, Lungur, Chirgyap La, including the villagers of Mago on Monday.
Another inoculation camp was set up at Jethang grazing ground to cover the grazers of Tso-Gye, Merathang grazing ground and Yaya  on Saturday. Jethang GG is located 18 kilometres away and calls for about 4-5 hours arduous foot trek from Mago.
187 beneficiaries availed the COVID-19 shots, which consisted of 177 people under the 18- 44 years age group while 10 people were vaccinated in the 45 and above category. Random RAT were also carried out at Mago and Jethang grazing ground, wherein, no one was detected covid positive.
25 patient suffering from various ailments were also diagnosed and distributed free medicine by Dr. Rinchin Neema while  Tawang Zilla Parishad Chairperson Leki Gombu provided cash incentives of Rs One Thousand each to eleven  families at Jethang grazing ground and two families at Shulungthi grazing ground as financial assistance on his behalf to the grazers.
Medical staffs of CHC Jang successfully concluded the vaccination camp led by Jang ADC RD Thungon, Tawang ZPC Leki Gombu,  Dr. Rinchin Neema, DIO Cum DRCHO Tawang and Mago-Thingbu EAC Pemtan Monpa.
