YINGKIONG, Jan 15: A district level review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing construction of PMGSY Phase-I & II roads in Upper Siang district was held here at the Circuit House Conference Hall on Thursday which was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner.
Contractors, RWD field engineers, SE RWD Er. N. Regia and common people attended the meeting. While asking the contractors to complete the projects on or before March 31, 2021 through strengthening of manpower and machineries, the SE also directed the field engineers to supervise the projects regularly and provide required technical support.
Stressing on expediting the projects the DC while assuring full support and cooperation from the DA in case of any local hindrances also directed the field engineers to remain at sites to make sure the target of reaching the March 31 deadline is achieved without compromise in construction quality.
