ITANAGAR, Nov 26: All Kra-Daadi District Students Union (AKDDSU) has threatened to call 24-hr bandh as second phase of its protest against the authority for their lackadaisical attitude towards the demands of the union in Kra Daadi district on December 8 next.
Speaking to reporters, General Secretary Miching Anil stated that despite repeated pleas and 12-hr bandh called by the union over its charter of demands, authority has failed to pay any heed on the issue. “Our demands are not for personal benefit but is for the whole district and student community," he said.
Earlier, AKDDSU in its charter of demands has sought to post sufficient teachers at Higher Secondary School, Palin, one-time funding for infrastructure development of the District Headquarters Palin, immediate recruitment of various posts under APSSB, immediate establishment of Fire & Emergency Station and establishment of multipurpose educational counseling center in the district.
