ITANAGAR, Dec 10: All Pakke-Kessang District Students’ Union (APKDSU) has called off its 12-hour Pakke Kessang district bandh on December 13 next.
Addressing media persons here today at Arunchal Press Club,  President Nera Gumro said that in a meeting on 9th December, Deputy Commissioner Pakke Kessang informed of the decision wherein the  National Health Mission (NHM) directed the Pakke-Kessang district health department to cancel recruitment of district programe management staff including District Programme Manager (DPM) District Account Manager (DAM) District Data Manager (DDM) and District Community Mobilizer (DCM).
During the meeting we had gone through the government decision where it has directed the health department to cancel all the recruitment and issue fresh advertisements and recruit the said post by following the norms of recruitment procedure. Therefore, we decided to call off the  district bandh call, Gumro said.
The cancellation order was issued by the Mission Director C.R Khampa days after the announcement of a 12-hour district bandh alleging  gross anomalies in the contractual posts recruitment process in the health department.
