ITANAGAR, Nov 27: The Arunachal Indigenous Students' Union (AISU) through a representation to the Chief Secretary has appealed to the state government to exempt the teachers currently engaged in teaching in Classes X & XII from PR and Municipal election duties.
The union has reasoned that engaging them at this moment when classes have just commenced after a long gap due to Covid will bring a negative impact on the academic performance of students in next year’s CBSE examination.
