NAHARLAGUN, Jul 2: Two senior doctors of the Health department, Dr. R.D. Khrime and Dr. Tayi Taloh today bid adieu to their colleagues after being superannuated from service and to make the moment memorable, a warm farewell ceremony was organized here at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Health Services (DHS).
Dr. Khrime joined the then General Hospital, Naharlagun as an ENT specialist in 1988 and was later posted to Bomdila. He was promoted as CMS, Arunachal State Hospital and served as Director of Medical Education (DME) in the Health Directorate from 2017, the post from which he retired in May 2021. Dr. Taloh joined government service in January 1987 at General Hospital, Naharlagun and after serving in various places like Daporijo, Pasighat, Mebo and Yingkiong, he was posted as the DMO of Dibang Valley and Anjaw districts. He was promoted to the post of Jt. DHS (Estt.) in the Health Directorate in 2016 from where he retired on June 30, 2021. 
Director of Health Services Dr M. Lego appreciated the invaluable contributions made by the two doctors in the field of health administrative reforms. TRIHMS Director Dr. M.Jini recalled the exciting times of the 1990s when he and Dr. Khrime fought for the creation of the APHS cadre along with other doctors of the state and appreciated his valuable contribution. Senior doctors and staff of the directorate attended the farewell event.
Earlier, MTS Hage Yakha was also accorded a warm send-off on her superannuation by the DHS.
