ITANAGAR, Sep 1: Two fuel stations will remain open 24X7 at Itanagar and Naharlagun from today informed Deputy Commissioner (ICR) Talo Potom while launching the same in presence of DF&CSO Amit Bengia Wednesday evening.
Potom also informed that there were many requests from the public to open fuel depots 24x7 in the capital region especially during night hours. So after threadbare discussion and a series of meeting with the concerned association, administration and police we have decided to keep at least two fuel stations open at night, one at C-sector Itanagar and another at A –Sector Naharlagun.
DC also informed that for the security of the fuel station and staffers, security forces will be deployed and PCR vans will be on alert mode. He also added that consumers have to take coupon first then only attendants will refill the vehicles.
While informing that the service can be availed by everyone, DC urged the public not to create any nuisance in the stations and follow the rules,so that facility would function smoothly and the public benefits.
