ITANAGAR, Nov 18: The Film Federation of Arunachal (FFA) on Wednesday announced that the 7th edition of the Arunachal Film Festival will be held on December 27 and 28 next.
Addressing a press conference at the press club, FFA General Secretary, Shambo Flago informed that this year the two day event will be an online competition organized by the FFA in collaboration with the state government.
“The festival will have competition in film categories such as feature, documentary, and two short films. One will be open to all topic/genre and the other theme based on unemployment and mental health," he added.
Entries should be from bonafide citizens of Arunachal Pradesh, and entries of feature and documentary films must be affiliated to FFA or certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Winners of feature, documentary, short (theme based) and short (open) films will be awarded cash prize of Rs 2 lakh, Rs 1 lakh, Rs 75 thousand and Rs 50 thousand, respectively.
