ZIRO, Jun 5: In continuation with the Zero-Drug Ziro Mission launched on January 26 earlier this year, Tanw Supuñ Dukuñ (TSD), the apex council of Apatani community kick-started the awareness campaign for all  Panchayat segments  from Govt. Middle School, Tanyang Putu, Ziro for Diibo Panchayat segment today.
Dr. Hage Taker, SMO, GTGH, Hapoli, Takhe Riniyo, Supdnt. Tax & Excise and Narcotics, Ziro, Millo Lalyang, OC, Ziro and Adv. Duyu Chada, Asstt. Secy. Legal (Modern) were the resource persons for the awareness programme.
They  spoke on the issues like  drug addictions and The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Earlier Bamin Gumbo, ZPM welcomed the members and appreciated TSD for initiating the mission.
Taku Chatung, General Secretary, TSD also briefed on action plan on the Mission. 
He informed that "After completion  of all 16 panchayat segments within Ziro,TSD will launch a comprehensive action plan during International Day for Anti drugs on June 26."
" We have invited All Gaon Bura and buris and  Student Union of Diibo Panchayat segment have been invited to attend the programme so that chain of awareness activities can be launched by them in their respective villages, " he further informed.
