Itanagar, May 7: A Triage centre will be set up in the state capital Itanagar for proper management of Covid patients. Donyi Polo Ashoka Hotel has been requisitioned as Triage centre which will manage Covid-19 patients as per the category of mild, moderate and severe.
The DMO also informed that the patients would be monitored by team of doctors at the centre and all important tests to monitor the health of the patients like X-ray, blood test, oximeter etc, RT PCR, TrueNat and RAT test and other blood test would be done at the Triage centre itself.
Severe cases would be referred to DCH Chimpu, informed the DMO.
Secretary Health P Parthiban along with Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Region Talo Potom, Director TRIHMS Dr Moji Jini, Director Health Services Dr M Lego, DMO ICR Dr Mandip Perme, EAC Datum Gadi and a host of medical officers visited DCH Chimpu today to take stock of its functioning.
The Director TRIHMS informed that additional 30 beds would be made functional from Saturday, out of which 28 beds will have D type cylinder and other two beds will have jumbo cylinder.
