NAHARLAGUN, Feb 15: A two-day training on ‘New Contraceptive and Injectable Contraceptive’ under Antara Programme and Centchroman (Chhaya) for the medical officers, AYUSH doctors and staff nurses of District Health Society commenced today here at the State Training Hall of National Health Mission (NHM).
Nodal Officer of Training, NHM Dr Tara Taku informed that contraceptive medicines have already reached the districts and the trainees can utilise them after completion of training while delivering medical services to the people. He advised the participants to maintain monthly Utility Reports of medicines in order to keep updated annual stock records.
Stock Registers maintained by the districts need to be shared with the state and further with the Union Health Ministry for continuous receipt of medicines, he informed.
Gynaecologist, Bakin Pertin General Hospital, Pasighat Dr. J. Darang is the Trainer-cum-Resource Person of training. The 2nd batch of training will be conducted on February 17-18.
