Panchayat election conducted smoothly across Keyi Panyor
Yingkiong, Dec 17: A training programme for Counting Supervisors and Counting Assistants was conducted today at the designated counting centre, Multipurpose Hall, Yingkiong, in preparation for the upcoming Panchayat Poll 2025 counting day scheduled to be held on December 20.
The training programme was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer (PR), Upper Siang, Talo Jerang, who elaborated in detail on the roles and responsibilities of counting personnel. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining accuracy, transparency, and strict adherence to prescribed procedures, along with necessary precautions to be observed at the counting centres.
The training was imparted by Master Trainers Sanjay Singh, Agriculture Development Officer, and Amit Dihider, ASO (Agri), who provided hands-on guidance to ensure smooth and error-free conduct of the counting process.
