NEW TUPI, Jun 9: New Tupi village under Longo Administrative Circle in Tirap has become the first village in the district to achieve a 100% Covid vaccination coverage for the 45+ beneficiaries.
In addition, at Kapu PHC under the same Circle, 115 beneficiaries were vaccinated today which is a record. A special one-to-one counselling session for the focus group consisting of people reluctant to get vaccinated was also held at the vaccination centre. The milestone is a result of hard work of the ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, PRI members, Chief, GB and Medical Officer of the Circle, CO Longo Ripi Doni said. DIPRO
