KHONSA, Jun 20: The Anti Drugs Squad team of Tirap Police arrested two including a woman who is said to be the main drug supplier in Deomali and recovered suspected Heroin including cash from sales proceed.
The ADS while working on KSA PS C/No.17/21 and on corroboration from sources, found  that a woman at Deomali is the main supplier of drugs at Deomali area and she supplied to Khonsa as well.
On receiving the information, SP Tirap Kardak Riba directed the ADS team to  immediately rush to the location where peddling of drugs was going on.
The team raided the suspected location near PWD Inspection Bungalow Deomali and caught red handed one drug peddler named W. Ajang and recovered suspected Heroin and cash(proceed in drug sale). On spot interrogation, he revealed the name of the woman drug dealer at Deomali and led the team to her house.  On reaching the house of the suspected drug supplier Y. Boi, the house was searched thoroughly in presence of Executive Magistrate and Jurisdictional executive magistrate and the team recovered suspected Heroin and cash.
 After observing all the legal procedures both were arrested and Deomali PS C/No.07/2021 u/s 21(B) NDPS Act registered.
