Khonsa, Sep 7: Acting on specific input regarding drug syndicate operative in Khonsa Township, the Anti Drugs Squad of Khonsa police under close supervision of Superintendent of Police, Tirap District arrested five persons operating a drugs racket in Khonsa township and seized drugs worth Rs. 2,00,000  and cash amout of Rs. 40,110.
The arrestees have been identified as  Shomnai Losu, Phiphot Losu, Phedai Wangsa, Phamsa Wangsa and Thaisii Raomai alias Sten.
All the incriminating articles were searched and seized in presence of D.K. Thongdok, Executive Magistrate, Khonsa.
The SP Tirap appreciated SI O. Ronrang, I/c OC PS Khonsa, SI AK Mehta for the breakthrough. DIPRO
