KHONSA, Apr 30:   The 1st    District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting for FY 2021-22 was held on Thursday here at the  Kamlesh Joshi Conference Hall of DC Office. Central/State  sponsored schemes were reviewed under chairmanship of  Deputy Commissioner, Tirap Taro Mize. MLAs of  57th Borduria-Boagapani AC Wanglin Lowangdong, 55-Khonsa East Wanglam Sawin, 56 Khonsa West Chakat Aboh attended the meeting. The DC informed that the main objective of the Committee is to see that developmental projects in the district are implemented as per specifications in the sanctioned DPRs without any duplicity. Actions taken on the observations of the last DLMC meeting held on January 18 this year and the present status of ongoing projects were reviewed through PowerPoint Presentation.  While seeking better co-ordination among various department for proper implementation of projects, the DC requested the panchayat representatives to convince those persons creating hindrance in smooth implementation of projects through baseless allegations. He also directed the implementing agencies to provide copies of progress reports of the projects being implemented by their department to the ZPC at least one week before DLMC meetings.
The MLAs called for focusing  on increasing production in agriculture and  allied sectors and offered to contribute from their MLA LAD fund for fighting the pandemic in the district. DIPRO
