KHONSA, Mar 22: ‘DDMA Tirap’, a mobile app through which the district’s citizens can go through the advisories related to preparedness, mitigation and safety measures during disasters was launched today by Deputy Commissioner Taro Mize.
The app which is downloadable from the Google Play Store has been developed by District Informatics Officer, Tirap Rakesh Das. Appreciating the DIO for making the app, the DC appealed all to download it on their android phones for staying aware about disasters, their management and safety aspects. The app contains general guidelines and advisories related to various disaster events and their management in the district and as the data is static it also works offline.
Helpline numbers of various emergency services of Tirap district have been included in it. DIPRO
