KHONSA, Jan 6: A coordination meeting in connection with preparation and work distribution for the ensuing Republic Day celebration was held at Khonsa under the chairmanship of  Deputy Commissioner, Tirap District, Hento Karga today.
While presiding over the meeting, the DC enlightened the importance of Republic Day celebration in length and urged the head of departments and security forces including  civil societies to actively participate on the occasion. 
After threadbare discussion, various works assignment were entrusted to different departments and it was also informed that parade rehearsal would commence soon at Nehru Stadium, Khonsa under the supervision of  SP Kardak Riba.
