Khonsa, Dec 8: The District Task Force on Immunization (DTFI), Tirap conducted its first meeting on Covid-19 vaccination preparedness in presence of officials of the Block Task Force on Immunization (BTFI) here at the Kamlesh Joshi Conference Hall of DC’s office today.
Presiding over the meeting, DTFI-cum-DC Tirap Taro Mize stressed on making adequate preparations for the upcoming COVID vaccination challenge. He asked the concerned DMO/ DD(ICDS)/CDPOs/Medical Officers, AWWs, Nurses and ANMs to ensure full coverage of the intended beneficiaries. The DC further asked the DTFI and BTFI members to conduct review meetings from time to time as per convenience without clashing with PR election duties.
PowerPoint Presentations covering COVID vaccination reparatory activities, current status of cold chain system in the district, District Vaccine Store (DVS), Cold Chain Points and Cold Chain Equipment and their maintenance, priority plans, erection of vaccine booths, supervisory visits and district/block-wise tasks of concerned stakeholders were also made during the meeting.
