LONGO, Jun 24: Although it was a belated start after three days of the state-wide rollout of the Tika Maha Abhiyan for the 18-44 age category in Longo village under Longo Administrative Circle in Tirap district, on the first day itself a 100% coverage was achieved.
The village-intensive vaccination drive was rolled out by the District Administration under leadership of CO Longo Ripi Doni, Medical department, ASHAs, AWWs and panchayat members. During the six and a half hour session all the 144 youths of the village were vaccinated, taking the coverage to 100%. DIPRO
