YAZALI, Jul 26: Minister Education, Taba Tedir launched smart classrooms for Government Higher Secondary School Yazali and Government Secondary School, Pitapool today. The smart classrooms were donated by the Himalayan University as a part of their CSR initiative.
Underscoring the importance of information technology and its usage in the modern education system, Tedir exhorted the teaching fraternity to keep abreast with the latest technologies and computer knowledge to adapt to the evolving dynamics of modern education.
While interacting with the principal, headmaster in-charges and the teachers of the schools, he reminded them of their responsibilities to create a pool of educated and responsible citizens.
Also lauding the generosity of Himalayan University to help the less privileged group of society access modern education, he added that such noble acts will always be cherished by the students.
In the evening, the minister also reviewed the admission process for the online classes in government schools and the modalities to improve the teaching process with the education officials of the district. 
Shaswat  Surabh, IAS, Special Secy School Education, Hemant Goyal, Chairman, Himalayan University, Tani Lofa, Chairman Advisory Board were among those present.
