ITANAGAR, Jul 26: In an unfortunate incident, one Chetu Sherpa, a Direct to Home Service technician (Tata Sky) lost his life when he came in contact with a high tension wire passing above the building on Sunday.The incident occurred when Sherpa was installing Tata Sky (DTH) connection on a building in Nitivihar, Itanagar.
When contacted the Executive Engineer, Department of Power informed that a departmental inquiry will be conducted to find the cause of the unfortunate incident and the family will be compensated if the allegation of negligence by the department is found true.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered at the Nitivihar police station.
