ITANAGAR, Feb 4: Police have filed the much awaited  charge sheet against the seven arrested in connection with the murder of Techi Meena Lishi and her unborn child under 302/120B/201/316 IPC at District Court Yupia today.
SDPO Naharlagun Rike Kamsi informed that as the case is sensitive with high profile arrestees, the police team had to make an extra effort to submit a strong charge sheet. He further informed that a few more FSL reports are yet to arrive and as such more arrests can be made if needed, adding that some more details are needed for filing the supplementary charge sheet. The charge sheet submitted to the court on the day consists of 56 pages, 118 supportive documents along with a seizure list and 60 photographs, the SDPO informed.
Earlier on November 5, Meena’s body was found along the Karsingsa highway inside a crashed car with injuries indicating foul play. During investigation, at least seven people including her husband Lishi Roni were arrested.
