KHONSA, Dec 8: The legislators and District Administrations of Tirap, Changlang and Longding (TCL) conducted “Tirap Basin” meeting in connection with celebration of Golden Jubilee Celebration of Arunachal Pradesh as a part Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav under the chairmanship of Minister PHE & WS Wangki  Lowang.
The inauguration of Golden Jubilee Celebration of Arunachal Pradesh will be held at Ziro on 20th January next year and Tirap Basin at Khonsa H/Qs will be celebrated on 31st January while closing ceremony will be held  in Papum Pare on 20th February.
All the 11 legislators of TCL districts gave their suggestions to make the celebration a grand one. Emphasis was laid on showcasing the culture and indigenous sports of the region.
Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of the three districts were also present.
