YUPIA, Apr 3: The Tax and Excise department has clocked a 10 to 15% increase in their revenue collection during 2016-17. This was revealed during a review meeting held by Deputy Commissioner Papumpare with Superintendent Tax and Excise Itanagar, Naharlagun, Banderdewa and Kimin today.

Presiding over the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye instructed all the 
officers to place their grievances in the departmental review meeting to be held anytime soon with the CM.
Tax collection, revenue generation, infrastructure developments were discussed in the meeting. 
Shifting of Wine Shops from 500 metres periphery of National  and State Highways was also discussed.
