TAWANG, Jan 5: COVID-19 vaccination mock drill (dry run) for Tawang district was carried out today here at the proposed vaccination site in Khandro Drowa Tsangmo District Hospital.
The mock drill vaccination session was launched by a click of the start button on the mobile by Deputy Commissioner Sang Phuntsok. Two teams with five health officials as Vaccination Officers in each were prepared for the drill. DRCHO Dr. Lobsang Tempa informed the mock drill was carried out as per instructions from competent authority and as advance preparation for conducting the first phase of COVID vaccination in the district. The drill was followed by an inspection of the under-construction inpatient ward by the DC who was accompanied by DMO Dr Wangdi Lama and Medical Superintendent KDS District Hospital Tawang Dr N.Namshum. DSP Thuptan Jambey, Chairman, Block Task Force on Immunization Lobsang Choidar and other senior medical officers and health officials were present on the occasion. DIPRO
