ITANAGAR, Apr 30: The Directorate Services Officers’ Association of Arunachal (DSOAA) today felicitated Talo Potom on being inducted to the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) and his posting as Special Secretary to GoAP in a simple ceremony here at a city hotel.
DOSAA Vice President Subu Tabin informed that Talo Potom has reached the highest administrative cadre level from the position of a Junior Engineer through  his dedicated services to the people of capital complex particularly and the state as a whole. “Potom’s selection and induction to the IAS cadre would be an inspiration of hundreds of officers of the state who can think that hard work, dedication, sincerity, devotion and determination to serve people would give an opportunity for reaching the  IAS cadre level,” President COSAAP Pate Marik said. “His sincere services is an example for the upcoming officers. He has always been active as an officer in PWD, UD, CEO, ADM and tried to address the nagging issues of encroachment and beautification,” Director Housing, Techi Guvin said. Talo Potom induction to the prestigious IAS has been welcomed by thousands of people of the state and hope the new assignment is successful, Director of Women & Child Development T P Loyi said.
Potom has always been involved in the developmental works in the capital complex and instrumental in several eviction drives and demolition of illegal structures as well as in beautification efforts in the ICR, Director Trade & Commerce said.
