ITANAGAR, Sep 29: Tali MLA Jikke Tako on Tuesday chaired a meeting with the officials executing the land acquisition process for the proposed Arunachal Frontier Highway (AFH) passing through Palin in Kra Daadi district.
Discussing in detail regarding the progress of land acquisition with the officials from BRO, survey firms and line departments, the MLA urged the concerned survey agencies to expedite the process for early completion of land acquisition. “We have asked the line departments, survey agencies and other related departments to expedite works. As the said project will play a strategic role for the country’s defence needs, we have suggested to constitute a committee which will submit a complete report as soon as possible for starting the land acquisition process from Huri to Taliah via Tali and Pipsorang,” the MLA informed. "AFH which touches the districts of Kurung Kumey, Upper Subansiri and Tali constituency in Kra Daadi is one of the dream projects of the state headed by MoS Sports and Youth Affairs Kiren Rijiju," he added.
The meeting was attended by DC Kra Daadi, ADC Tali, Commanding Officer BRO, DLRSO, EE-PWD and others.
