PASIGHAT, Mar 12: Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson, District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Tayi Taggu on Friday visited One Stop Centre, Humane Academy Child Care Institute (CCI) and juvenile observation cum special home at Pasighat. He was accompanied by the Deputy Director (ICDS) cum District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) M. Gao.
During the inspection, Taggu interacted with the staff and inmates of all the three institutions and stressed on proper functioning of the institutions with sincerity and dedication. The DC heard all the issues and problems being faced by the institutions and assured to take up all issues at the appropriate levels. He instructed the officers to have regular meetings with the stakeholders and called for dealing with the pending cases at the earliest and within the provisions of the Act/Law on priority.
