ITANAGAR, Jun 30: Minister for Power, Tamiyo Taga on Friday sought the Chief Engineer (power) Eastern Zone to furnish detailed inquiry in the reported death of a mother and daughter, who were electrocuted at Bonia village in Pangchau Circle under Longding District on June 27 last. Expressing shock over the unfortunate incident, the minister citing news report that the unfortunate incident could have been avoided had the department undertaken maintenance of the lines which caused the electrocution,  directed the CE (Power) to immediately furnish the inquiry report showing lapses if any to his office within three days.
