ITANAGAR, Oct 12: Commemorating World Mental Head Day, Psychosocial Support Group, Arunachal Pradesh under the aegis of All Arunachal Pradesh Psychological Association (AAPPA) organized one-day Psychological outreach program here at Deepak Nabam Living Home on Tuesday.
Briefing about the event, Chairperson, AAPPA -Oyin Mibang informed that clinical assessment, physical examination, art competition etc were held to mark the day. Health experts were also present on the occasion to examine the health condition of the inmates of Deepak Nabam Living Home. “We have also provided basic Psychological examination and counseling to the inmates," she added.
Vice–President, AAPPA- Leeyir Ete informed that to support the Deepak Nabam Living Home, the association also organized three days donation drive which collected more than Rs 50000 and other essential commodities. “We are thankful to the people who donated for the needy people," she added while informing that all the donated items and contribution has been handed over to the DNLH.
Meanwhile, Chairperson DNLH- Deepak Nabam expressed his gratitude to the members for organizing the important activities at the campus for the welfare of its inmates. DNLH is home for more than 200 inmates.
