ITANAGAR, Dec 15: Actor cum Supermodel Milind Soman along with hundreds of people of all age groups participated in the 5km 'FunRun' organized by Forever 21 clothing and accessories outlet located in the state capital on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters, Milind Soman said that this is his first visit to the state of Arunachal Pradesh and he is delighted to see huge participation of people ranging from every age in the Fun-Run program. He wished to visit the state again in the future.
He said running should not be confined to a certain age but everyone should run irrespective of age for a healthy body and sound mind. The people here are very conscious of nature and welcoming which reflects the healthy behavior of the Arunachalee people, he added.
“Anyone who is inspired by me for a healthy body at this age should work hard. Nothing is simple with the advent of new technology. Life is tough and to live a healthy life, one has to be fit mentally as well as physically,” Soman said.
Meanwhile, Ankita Konwar appealed to the youths of the state to remain fit and follow the roots that their ancestors passed on. Being from Northeast, we have always remained healthy and fit as compared to the rest, she said.
Therefore, healthy living should be passed on to the next generation, she added.
Earlier, Soman inaugurated another clothing brand ‘Peter England’ at Naharlagun and also visited other outlets like Levis, Lakme, and Sports Station.
