Ziro, Sep 11: Deputy Commissioner Lower Subansiri, Somcha Lowang inspected the repair and renovation  works being carried out at medical sub centers in Ziro  as a part of upgrading the sub centers as 'wellness centers'.
The sub centers identified as wellness centers will be upgraded with a staff nurse , better equipments and medicines.
DC Smt. Lowang along with DMO Dr. Tage Kanno, Medical Superintendent Dr. Kime Horming inspected the sub centers at Siro, Monipolyang, Bula, Hari,Hong, Hija and Bamin village.
The repair and maintenance works at sub centers Siro, Hong, Bula and Hari have been completed.
However Deputy Commissioner instructed the incharges of the wellness centers to issue completion certificate only after ascertaining that all the repair and renovation works have been completed as per their requirements.
The team interacted with the staff of all the wellness centers and also took stock of all their requirements. DC further advised them to be sincere in their duties and ensure their centers are kept clean.
ZPM Hibu Yache while interacting with the inspection team at Monipolyong subcenter requested the Deputy Commissioner to demarcate the land for the sub center. DIPRO
