ITANAGAR, Nov 5: All Kra Daadi District students’ Union (AKDDSU) on Friday threatened to call a 12 hours bandh call in the District on November 16 next as first phase in support of its five-point charter of demand.
Addressing media persons at Arunachal Press club here today, AKDDSU president, Pakyum Talop  informed that despite repeated pleas, the  government has been non-committal towards its charter of demands.
Posting of sufficient teachers at Government higher secondary School Palin was their top priority. "Despite the shortage of subject teachers, the Government has transferred 8 teachers at one go from the school in the month of August this year. Moreover, not a single teacher has been posted to replace them till date and studies of students is being hampered," Talop said.
While expressing anguish over the policies of the state government, especially in the education department, the union demanded immediate posting of teachers at the school and also demanded approval of guest teachers as proposed by the DDSE Kra Daadi district.  “As per report, three teachers were posted by the Government for the said school in the same month but till today they have not join their duties. The union also tried to contact them but they are not ready to join,” he said, while informing that  the union has no other option but to file an FIR against these teachers.

Informing about their support for the relocation of Kra Daadi district headquarters from Jamin to Palin, he said that state government should provide one time funding for all infrastructure developments of District headquarters Palin.
The union also demanded immediate disposal of the remaining 18 posts of MTS for Kra Daadi district which is lying under APSSB.
Talop said that if APSSB fails to conduct an interview on it, the responsibility should be handed over to the district administration immediately.
Further, union also demanded  establishment of Fire station in the district and establishment of multipurpose educational counseling center with lodging facility in district.
