ITANAGAR, Apr 26:  Newly elected members of All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) led by president Nabam Dodum and General Secretary Gora Rikam called on Minister for Health and Family Welfare Alo Libang today and discussed about the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the state.

ANSU team also expressed their willingness to confer voluntarily services in generating awareness, Covid-19 vaccine drive, and in other areas to contain the spread of the pandemic.

The minister also thanked the team for their concern and expressed hope that the second wave of the pandemic will be defeated by the people.

Expressing concern over the surge in Covid-19 cases in the state, ANSU general secretary urged the people to follow the SOPs issued by the government.
