ROING, Jun 16:The first phase of two day long training programme for teachers on Smart Class under Chief Minister Adhunik Shiksha Yojana for the selected 32 schools, commenced here today at Anchal Samiti Hall, Roing. Altogether 56 teachers from different schools participated in the training programme.

Inaugurating the programme, Special Secretary Education, Mitali Namchoom, informed that the initiative was part of the state government mission to transform all government run schools into Smart Classroom, under which every child will be taught in a most scientific method enhancing their understanding level along with textbooks.

She also called for effective implementation of the “K YAN” device and said that it should not be dumped in the store lying unused and ensure that the teachers make full use of the facility.

She further mentioned for monitoring the performance of the device by the teachers and its impact on the learners and also reviews of reports by September-November 2017.
