ITANAGAR, Feb 27: As part of the ongoing loan camps in various parts of the state for the street vendors under PM Street Vendors Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi), a 3-day loan mela was organised by DUDA Jairampur. Camps were also organised in Yingkiong and at the Aalo and Pasighat branches of SBI.
At the Jairampur camp State Mission Manager (SMM), Arunachal State Urban Livelihoods Mission (ArSULM) Ravi Sharma shared the details of the scheme with the vendors and urged them to get registered. Out of 115 registered vendors, 56 applied successfully for loans. In Yingkiong out of 153 registered vendors, 90 made online applications for availing loans. In SBI Pasighat and Aalo, PM SVANidhi disbursement camps were organised today in collaboration with PMC and DUDA.
PM SVANidhi loan scheme of DAY-NULM provides special micro credit facility to the street vendors for affordable working capital loans up to Rs. 10,000 to resume livelihoods adversely affected by COVID-19 pandemic. Dept. of UD&H PR
