ITANAGAR, Jul 12: Altogether 19 stranded passengers including 7 patients out of which two in very serious condition were evacuated from Sagalee today by a Sky One helicopter.
The patients were rushed in three ambulances provided by Tomo Riba State Hospital Naharlagun from the Naharlagun Heliport. Sagalee administrative headquarters has been totally cut off from the rest of the world for last many days due to massive landslides in many points of the Itanagar – Sagalee stretch of road.
20 quintals of ration was supplied through air sortie to Sagalee today to meet up the immediate ration shortage. Chief Minister Pema Khandu is personally monitoring the relief and evacuation activities.
