ITANAGAR, Dec 21: With the death of a 50-year old male from Khardung village in Tawang district on Monday at the DCHC, the state’s Covid-19 casualty tally has reached 56.
According to the State COVID-19 Bulletin, the said patient was suffering from the comorbidities of chronic liver ailment coupled with anaemia and was tested Covid-19 positive through RAT at DCHC, Tawang. In terms of daily addition, 22 new cases (asymptomatic 19 ; symptomatic 2) were added on Monday with Tawang recording the maximum with 10 out of the total. Recoveries, however, fell below the new additions at 19 with the ICR contributing with 9.
As of now, total active Covid cases in the state stand at 227 and 16369 have been discharged after full recovery.
