ITANAGAR, Jul 3: Arunachal Pradesh enjoyed its second successive Covid casualty-free day today although taking the recoveries over new cases is proving to be increasingly difficult.
Recoveries, New Cases, Sample Collection
Of the 365 (asymptomatic 210; symptomatic 155) new cases which is a decline from Friday’s  404, ICR has retained the top slot with 90 more denizens joining the Covid-patients list. Tawang (49), Lohit (32), Changlang (29), Papum Pare (28) and West Kameng (22) followed next. Among the 272  new recoveries (it was 223 the previous day), the first 7 districts were ICR (89), West Kameng (25), Lohit (23), Namsai (19), East Siang, East Kameng and Upper Subansiri (14 each). Active cases as of July 3 (8pm)  were 3057 and recovery count 33704. 5016 samples were collected in total from across the state.   
Vaccination
Coverage (dose 1) in the '18 years and above' age category reached  65% with  6998 taking their jabs on Saturday. 1864 took their 2nd shot (11% coverage so far) 
Occupancy status
Till 8 pm on Saturday, there were 55 patients at DCH Chimpu, 25 at SQF Lekhi, 1 at DCHC Midpu, 9 at DCH Pasighat and 34 at DCHC.
