ITANAGAR, Sep 8: Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday reported the highest single-day spike with 221 fresh covid positive cases including one more death taking the state's death toll to 9.
As per the State Bulletin, a 41-year old male patient (Non-APST) with known history of diabetes was referred from general hospital, Bomdila to the Dedicated Covid Hospital, Chimpu in the state capital but his health deteriorated and he was taken to Jamuguri hospital in Assam for management where he passed away.
Of the 221 new cases, highest number of 66 cases was reported from Papumpare and 60 cases from Itanagar Capital Complex.
Barring 43, rest of the cases are asymptomatic. On a positive note a total 127 patients recovered today and were discharged.
