ITANAGAR, Jun 16:  After several days at a stretch, Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday had a Covid casualty-free day and  recoveries also surpassed new cases.
250 new Covid cases were recorded on the day with ICR leading with 52, followed by West Kameng 35 and Upper Subansiri 17. The ICR also led the day’s recovery count of the state (289) with 76. Anjaw, Tawang, Upper Subansiri and Changlang were the next four districts with 45, 37, 28 and 23 recoveries respectively. As on June 16, the state had 2810 active Covid patients, 29223 recoveries and 155 casualties. 6219 samples were collected from across the state on the day.
Occupancy status at the CCCs on Wednesday evening  (8 pm) was- 46 at DCH Chimpu, 21 at SQF Lekhi, 2 at DCHC Midpu, 7 at DCH Pasighat and 20 at DCHC.
