ITANAGAR, Oct 16: A delegation of National People’s Party, Arunachal Pradesh led by its State President Gicho Kabak today met Chief Minister Pema Khandu here at his office and discussed issues relating to state’s development and others.
The party’s State President was accompanied by its four MLAs namely NPP Legislature Party Leader Tapuk Taku, Mutchu Mithi, Tarin Dakpe, Gokar Basar, Working State President & Ex. MLA Pani Taram, Vice-President State NPP Nima Sangey Saling and General Secretary Porchu Tamin. The delegation conveyed the decision taken during legislature party meeting held on October 15 last which unanimously elected Tapuk Taku as NPP Legislature Party Leader. State President submitted a copy of the resolution adopted during the meeting to the CM. The delegation discussed about developmental activities initiated under the state government, CAB and Chakma Hajong issues and appreciated Chief Minister’s dynamism in initiating various developmental activities in state. Khandu congratulated Taku on being elected as Legislature Party Leader and assured all possible support to accelerate developmental activities in state. NPP being the major partner of North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) with four MLAs in Arunachal, is extending continued support to the BJP-led state government.
The delegation also called on State Assembly Speaker PD Sona and submitted the resolution of NPP Legislature Party Leader election and requested for separate sitting arrangement in the Assembly Hall accordingly. NPP PR
