Itanagar, Oct 21: The State Level EMRS Cultural and Literary Fest for the year 2025-26 was held today at Pastoral Range Centre, ESS Colony, Itanagar being organised by the Arunachal Pradesh Eklavya Model Residential School Society and the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment and Tribal Affairs under the aegis of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. This Fest aims to provide a vibrant platform for EMRS students to showcase their talents in art, culture, and literature, while celebrating the rich tribal heritage and diversity of the State. The event will feature a series of cultural and literary competitions including tribal and folk dances, Music, Debate, Poetry, Elocution, Storytelling, Recitation and Painting etc. 
The fest seeks to promote tribal languages, creativity, and self-expression, fostering pride in indigenous identity and unity among students from diverse tribal communities. It also aims to identify outstanding young talents who exemplify excellence in performance, creativity, and cultural understanding. All together 5(five) functional EMRS of Arunachal Pradesh have enthusiastically participated in all the events. 
Earlier, the Director, Social Justice & Empowerment and Tribal Affairs, Yumalm Kaha while welcoming the participants from various EMRSs informed that the winners of the State Level EMRS Cultural and Literary Fest will earn the honour of representing the State at the national level.
