ITANAGAR, Sep 26: The state government has decided to recommend the recent question paper leak of AE (Civil) examination conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for  free & fair  investigation.
Speaking to reporters at the Press Information Centre (PIC) at the Civil Secretariat here on Monday, Home Minister Bamang Felix said no stone shall be left unturned to find out the truth in the case. Accordingly, anyone found guilty will not be spared and action will be taken with an iron hand.
Felix said the recommendation of the case to CBI is specifically in terms of the question paper leak of AE (Civil) examination. However, there are no terms of reference to how far it can go as CBI has its own way of working on such cases.
“The police investigation will serve as documents for further investigation into the case by CBI. Also, the state police have almost done its part of the job and accordingly will soon submit the report to the state government,” he said, adding that police have strong proof in the arrest of 6 people in the case.
He said, moreover, the three member committee is also investigating on its part to find out the loopholes in the commission for reformation, to which the report will be submitted within 15 days.
“On the basis of the report submitted by the committee, the state government will further strengthen the commission,” he added.
