ITANAGAR, Oct 29: The state reported one more death on Thursday due to Covid-19 pushing the casualty tally to 37. According to the Covid bulletin, a 56-year-old man died at the Dedicated Covid Hospital, Pasighat today.
The Covid-19 positive patient hailing from Bordumsa was suffering from uncontrolled Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus and was referred to the DCH from Namsai with severe respiratory distress.
In terms of daily additions, the state reported 88 new cases of which 59 are asymptomatic and 29 symptomatic. Majority of cases have been reported from the Itanagar Capital Complex with 32 of the total. Meanwhile, the day saw 143 recoveries.
