ITANAGAR, Aug 30: Results of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination (APPSCCE) - Mains  will be declared by the first week of September.  The Mains was held in February this year.
Speaking to reporters, Secretary APPSC, Dr. Jayanta Kumar Ray said that the entire evaluation process has been completed and the final tabulation is in progress as of now. The tabulation will take much of two days; however, people can be assured that the result will be declared by the first week of September next, he said.
"Every procedure of the recruitment is being done in a transparent way. The commission is well equipped and is sufficient in manpower as before to handle any examination with authenticity and transparency."
The Secretary informed that the state government has recruited sufficient members to the commission to fill the manpower gap. "The most problematic matter in declaration of results, conducting and recruitment process was due to the global Corona virus pandemic," he added.
On the sidelines, Dr Ray informed that a proposal from the state education department was received by the commission on the recruitment of PGT and TGT. Not disclosing the exact number of recruitment, he informed that around 200 requisitions have been received both for PGT and TGT, which is in process. 
“The commission will first examine the proposal and accordingly advertise. Moreover, it depends on the number of applicants to decide the number of days it will take to commence the examination,” he said, adding that the conduct of any exam goes through a set of procedures.
