ITANAGAR, Aug 8: President Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Arunachal Pradesh, Biyuram Wahge launched the National Health Volunteer’s Campaign here today to prepare volunteers to fight against the third wave of COVID-19 Pandemic.
Wahge launched the ambitious National Health Volunteers Campaign, in presence of Daggubati Purandeshwari, the National General Secretary, BJP.
Purandeshwari expressed happiness at the effort to aware citizens of the state to fight against COVID-19. Party Karyakartas who will be termed as Health Volunteers will also be trained in providing basic medical help to people in need across the state, she said.
Speaking on the occasion, Wahge said the BJP Party Karyakartas had done unprecedented and remarkable work during the First & Second wave of COVID-19 and set an example in public services. He appreciated the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) team under the leadership of Ram Tajo, President BJYM for doing humanitarian service throughout the Janta Curfew and till date.
At least, 78 Health Volunteers from various districts of Arunachal Pradesh and party Karyakartas participated in the event. Ojing Tasing,Vice-President BJP, Nalong Mize, State General Secretary BJP, Ram Tajo, Convenor National Health Volunteers Campaign Cum President BJYM also attended the event.
