ITANAGAR, Apr 6: Along with other parts of the country, the 41st Sthapna Diwas (Foundation Day) of the BJP was celebrated today across the state by the party’s karyakartas (workers) right from booth to state level.
The state level celebration was organised at the capital’s State BJP headquarter in H-Sector graced by Minister, Health & Family Welfare etc. Alo Libang wherein he exhorted the party workers to be proactive in disseminating the programmes and policies of the state and central governments to the people at the grassroots.  State Vice President-cum-Chairman, Sthapna Diwas Celebration Committee Nani Lajie briefed the workers about the history of the BJP. State General Secretary Nalong Mize elaborated on the five principles of the party.
The Foundation Day celebrations will culminate on Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14 next and during these days the party workers will conduct various programmes throughout the state like cleanliness drive, awareness against use of Single Used Plastics, felicitation of senior citizens and meritorious students, webinars on life, philosophy and contribution of Dr BR Ambedkar etc.
