Ziro, May 29: The two-day national webinar titled “A Vision for Quality Higher Education through NEP 2020 and Revised NAAC Process” organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Saint Claret College, Ziro in collaboration with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bengaluru concluded today here at the college.
Around 90 participants comprising academicians, research scholars, educational administrators and other stakeholders in higher education attended the webinar. RGU VC Professor Saket Kushwaha as Chief Guest in the inaugural session underlined the importance of National Education Policy ( NEP) 2020 and NAAC in the present scenario of higher education in India. The webinar was spread over four technical sessions chaired by respective resource persons. Distinguished acedemecians like Professor S. M. Sungoh from the Department of Education, NEHU, Director, IQAC, RGU Professor R. C. Parida, VC, Arunodaya University Professor V. N. Sharma and Adviser-cum-Regional Coordinator of North Eastern Region, NAAC Dr Sujata P. Shanbhag were the resource persons. In all, 13 papers on various themes relevant to the webinar were focused upon by the presenters.
SCCZ's initiative in conducting the national webinar was lauded by the participants who opined that it will provide them useful insights for initiating the NAAC accreditation process.
